Megan's Big Girl Room

Megan's big girl room is almost finished and i have to say it's adorable. A little girlier than I originally planned, but still very cute. Nathan finished refinishing Megan's dresser and it looks fantastic. The flowers are wall stickers and can come on and off without any problem. Great for when Megan decides to redecorate. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of borders, but it was already up when we moved in. Since I don't hate it and the people who lived here before us did an extremely good job putting up borders (Nate spent 8 hours taking 1 down in the dinning room.) I decided to leave it. I'm a big fan of color so I defiantly love the lavender. In fact, in every house we've lived in I've had a purple room. Usually, it's been the guest room though.

Here's Megan first thing in the morning. Don't you just love the crazy hair?

Meg's still sleeping in the crib because neither Meg or I are ready for her to be in a big girl bed. She tries to climb in, not out of the crib. AND she'll sit in her crib talking/playing by herself for up to an hour in the mornings. If she decides not to take a nap she's content to be in her crib for an 1 1/2 hours. Very useful when I need to get something done or just need a rest. Both of which I'm sure I'll need even more of if newbie ever comes out.

Believe it or not the people we bought the hose from had a daughter named Megan who had the same room! It must have been fate for us to have this house!

I'm still trying to figure out what to put above the dresser. There is a full length mirror on the back of her door so she doesn't really need another one. If anyone has any suggestions let me know!
